Welcome to Growing Deeper. Many of us desire a deeper experience of God and our Christian faith. We are tired of a superficial and shallow existence. We long to have transformed lives, deeply secure in the love of the Father. These themes dominate my writing and this website will steer you towards resources you may find helpful.

Born and raised in Australia, I have lived in the United States since 2000. I serve as a full-time faculty member at William Jessup University, near Sacramento, California. I teach and speak regularly, in addition to my writing.

I married Kim in 1985 and we have three sons. Our church community is Adventure Christian Church in Rocklin, California.
